happy november!

Well, hello!

So the Halloween cruise was a success. Tons of people, albeit backpackers, but was still fun. I met an Irish fellow which you can be sure made my day. The thing is, I met him first on the bus because he commented on my costume. I probably looked pretty skanky seeing as how I had a on a trench coat and fishnet "nurse" stockings and heels. Probably looked like I was headed to a job, and I do believe I got judged by everyone as I went in Target to buy my bus ticket. :/
He observed that I must be celebrating Halloween and that he was going on a cruise but was waiting til he got to his friend's house to change. Now, why didn't I think of that? Honestly. I felt like an idiot for 15 minutes waiting on the bus after I had to endure stares from the ancient, the young, and the judgmental. I felt so much better when I got to the boat with all my other costumed peeps. Did I mention that Aussies don't really celebrate Halloween?

After the cruise I did meet a guy who later told me that he wished unkle cracker's "follow me" would come true for me. Ah. I debated about whether or not to share this on the internet, but it's too priceless and if you insist on making me hear things like that I have no problem with showing your ridiculousness to the world. Not to mention, that dumb song was stuck in my head the rest of the day which just really irritated me. And now it is probably stuck in your head and that thought makes me smile. HAHA!

I think I am getting sick. It is quite annoying because I don't usually get sick and I blame the youts. They tend to be dirty, despite my cleaning efforts, and everyone is reluctant to feed medicine to them. So...we endure. So...Steph gets sick, too. It's okay and not that bad, just irritating. Although now I have a great reason to stay home and watch crap TV and read my books.

Tonight I am going to make them chicken alfredo so lets all say a prayer for that one. I am not too hopeful, but just maybe, with Jesus on my side...

I can tell my blogs have been getting a bit more boring, but here is a glimpse of what has been keeping me busy:

Bella's dress was about three sizes too big for her so we had it tied up in the back. She was pretty precious, but honestly...have you seen cuter witches and fairies?!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween and enjoy your November! Happy Birthday to Bobbie!

And remember: unkle cracker rarely makes good music.
